Job Title:              Capacity Building Coordinator

Job Objective/ Purpose of Job:           To play a key role in the review of DeltaAfrik's   Learning & Development structure and develop a universal competency framework in order to meet the company's Nationalization Program by providing Strategies, Structures, Tools and Services to ensure national capabilities are developed to meet organizational and nationalization objectives.

Department/Division/ Unit:           National Capacity Building Department/Capacity                  Building Unit

Location:                 Victoria Island, Lagos


Functionally Reports To:            National Capacity Building Manager & NCB Advisor

Administratively Reports To:           Same as Above

Supervises:              Capacity Building Assistant

Internal:                 Learning & Dev. Coordinators, Undergraduate Dev. Coordinator, Organizational Development Coordinator, All other departments.

External:                            External consultants

Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

1)   Work with Learning and Development team and recommend specific
tools for the development and implementation of a universal competency           framework for all DeltaAfrik positions.
2)   Monitor and report on the delivery of the competency framework.
3)   Assess skills gaps for development purposes and develop programs to
address/close out these gaps.
4)   Provide strategies for measuring individual development and progress
and help develop metrics for evaluation.

Education Qualification:   Degree holder preferably in Humanities/Social Sciences.

Professional Qualification:   Strong background in training and human capital development.  Experience in conducting skills gap analysis.

Experience                   3-5 years cognate experience.


Functional/ Technical:     Demonstrable experience in developing metrics for evaluation.

Managerial:      Must possess visionary abilities and strong analytical
and problem solving skills.

Behavioural:      Must possess demonstrable creative and visionary abilities.  Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.  Must have proactive approach to his/her work.  Take responsibility of tasks assigned to them.

Monday - Friday          7.30 a.m. – 4.30 p.m.
